Dear Coleagues,

It is a privilege to invite you to the 22nd International Intensive Course for Interventional Radiology [IICIR]. The purpose of IICIR is to share our clinical experience and knowledge through lectures and hands- on workshops with young interventional radiologists. This meeting also provides an opportunity to form new relationships and promotes ties among interventional radiologists.

The highlight of IICIR is the hands-on workshop and animal lab which focuses on the development of basic skills required for interventional radiologists. Through this course, participants will be given the opportunity to handle various devices including catheters, guide wires, embolic materials, stents, and vascular closure devices.

Seoul, the venue for IICIR, is one of the world's greatest historical cities where ancient tradition and cutting edge co-exist in harmony. Visitors to South Korea's capital will be able to enjoy the rich culture as well as the dynamic aspects of the country.
